Dope: New Video By Vince Staples For ‘Law Of Averages’ Sticks It To Your Average

The rapper drops lead track to his upcoming album due out next month.

A ’90s movie aesthetic permeates a grainy art-house style video with incredible cinematography that extrapolates the feeling of the track using drones, zoom and wide focal lengths.

Featuring a trauma of smiley faces planted onto the profiles of extras and crew members, the artist pushes creativity to the max and demands connection to the lyrical mixture with a production that colludes to result in an ill composition.

Staples’ new adventure will drop July 9th, an eponymous work titled ‘Vince Staples‘ which will be followed up by ‘Ramona Park Broke My Heart‘.

Staples’ said: “It really gives much more information about me that wasn’t out there before. That’s why I went with that title. I feel like I’ve been trying to tell the same story. As you go on in life, your point of view changes. This is another take on myself that I might not have had before.”
