Kendrick Lamar Says He’s Readying Final TDE Album

The living legend publishes note explaining how his final release will roll out.

It has been a minute since we last heard from Kendrick. The Compton rapper has released some incredible music and fire flows imprinted with ill content in the form of ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’ and ‘Damn’.

The rapper posted a blog post on website ‘oklama’ in a folder titled ‘nu thoughts’ which said:

“I spend most of my days with fleeting thoughts. Writing. Listening. And collecting old Beach cruisers. The morning rides keep me on a hill of silence.

I go months without a phone.

The Compton rapper went on to drop jaws by telling listeners he was in the process of constructing his final album with Top Dawg Entertainment:

“As I produce my final TDE album, I feel joy to have been a part of such a cultural imprint after 17 years. The Struggles. The Success. And most importantly, the Brotherhood. May the Most High continue to use Top Dawg as a vessel for candid creators. As I continue to pursue my life’s calling.

There’s beauty in completion. And always faith in the unknown.

Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts. I’ve prayed for you all.

See you soon enough.

Last year, Lamar dismissed rumours he was leaving Top Dawg. Though this news confirms them.

His last album was 2017’s ‘Damn’ which one a Grammy award for ‘Best Rap Album’.
