London-based artist formerly of neo-soul outfit Girlhood – Pollena returns with her debut EP ‘Rising’ on Team Talk Records. Lauded by the likes of Giles Peterson & Lauren Laverne at BBC 6 Music her debut EP is tipped for major success.
The pop-dance sensation has been creeping around the scene for a while now, throwing a tease of sound here and there but has now revealed her debut EP, landing to an event of synth and dance vibes that slap.
Described as producing a “dreamy” sound by many including BBC Radio 1, Notion magazine and Earmilk she has arrived with a basket full of wonder including a new single.
The artist has always channeled a variety of music as heard on tracks including ‘Lemons’ and ‘Diamonds’. This continues on new single ‘Bask In Blue’ – the title track from her long awaited release. Listen below:
