Distinct and universal, ‘This Is Why’ appears to have allowed the group breathing space.
Filled with a medley of sounds and vocals that remain traits of the band, they have grown to filter music that appears to be more authentic. There is an air of late ‘80s British punk (in minimal supply) within their latest mix of musical pitch that also touches the breaches of a pop atmosphere.
Experimenting with high tempo snares and identity traits without conforming to a particular standard, Paramore marks This Is Why with a brand of their own.
Following on from their previous album After Laughter (2017), a lot has transpired since their last outing but it seems there’s a lot more they wish to say. Aside from streaming, Paramore have released a vinyl version of the album out now on Atlantic Records.
