New J Hus song titled ‘It’s Crazy’ lives up to title.

It’s been a few days since his latest work dropped following three years of absence and heavy incubation for the anticipation of a new album. But J is back with new song ‘It’s Crazy’ and it sort of is.

Though it isn’t what we expected there is a need to appreciate the few working artists pushing their own distinct breadth of style. Through the trend of releasing singles without an album, we must value those who put in the work and are deserving of the respect required for the art of thematic album projects. Don’t expect anything profound but the package definitely delivers the goods, supported by resolute production to bridge home a message that indeed the man has returned.

What do we know about J Hus’ new album?

Part of the promotion for Hus’ come back was the installation of several billboards around London which included a telephone number. Dialling it would result in a message from the man himself which said: “We’re back” among other things.

Hus’ upcoming album is titled ‘DON’T SAY MILITANCY’ and is expected to drop soon.

As of yet, no track list has been revealed though Hus has teased a potential collaboration with Dave and Stormzy and has confirmed the inclusion of Drill artist CB.
