The name ‘Stanisland’ (pronounced Stanis-sland) is an amalgamation of the word ‘Stan’, meaning ‘land’, and the name ‘Stanislav’, a common eastern European name. As equally similar as they sound, it highlights the idea of how similar we all are.
So on this site, you’ll find a library of internal compendious gup-shup jibber-jabber, and hopefully something of value.
The site has evolved into a portal covering various topics including climate change, essays, identity, music, humanitarian efforts, and mental health, but most importantly, it explores personal experiences and their impact on identity.
If you’re submitting music, our preference leans towards Hip-Hop, but we welcome all genres. Please note that our ratings are exclusively reserved for albums. While we do review EPs, they are not eligible due to their shorter length.
