Drake returns with the first new song from his upcoming album For All The Dogs.

It’s a highly anticipated album, the content of which will probably sound like every other Drake project. Once again, we are here, listening to what feels like a malfunctioning robot programmed to act like a teenager lamenting an old flame he just can’t seem to put out.

To his credit, Drake is consistent, though consistency does not necessarily equal quality, and that is exactly what we get here. Slime You Out is quite simply recycled sounds from prior releases that seem to trade from familiar formulas that just don’t cut it anymore.

Working with this type of cauldron, don’t expect him to last much longer in an industry that has moved on from the same sad sounds Aubrey has been stirring for years. Do yourself a favour and avoid five minutes of monotonous torture.
