Mr. Carter has been absent lately, instead, he’s been dropping rhymes on Magic 3, keeping Nas fans entertained. However, yesterday, Wayne decided it’s time to share details about his upcoming project, titled ‘Tha Fix Before Tha VI.’

Recently, Wayne commenced his nationwide summer tour, “Welcome to Tha Carter,” and in the lead-up to it, rumours were rife that his highly anticipated album announcement was imminent.

It wasn’t long ago, that Wayne dropped his single ‘Katfood,’ featuring an exceptionally bizarre cover art that, even by his standards, was quite eccentric and didn’t align with his usual style. While this song may or may not make it onto TFBTVI, it provides a glimpse into what we can anticipate from the former Cash Money artist.

This upcoming release has been positioned as a mixtape, meant to tide over listeners until his highly anticipated ‘The Carter VI’ drops. It’s all speculation for now, and only Lil’ Wayne knows for sure what we can expect and perhaps, something different.
