Israeli Airstrike on Gaza Hospital Claims 500 Lives, Palestinian Health Ministry Reports

A Gaza hospital was hit by an Israeli airstrike, resulting in a tragic loss of 500 lives, as reported by the Palestinian Health Ministry.

After 11 days of Israeli air strikes, Gaza faced another devastating incident. The Israeli air force bombed Al Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza, resulting in the tragic death of 500 Palestinians.

Gaza hospital attacked with no warning

This attack, as reported by Al Jazeera news, occurred without prior warning and is considered illegal under international law. The Geneva Convention designates hospitals and schools as safe havens, meant to protect children and patients receiving medical treatment.

Palestinian President Mahmood Abbas released a statement, condemning the hospital’s destruction and referring to it as an unprecedented massacre in their history, equating it to a genocidal act: “The massacre at al-Ahli Arab Hospital is unprecedented in our history. While we’ve witnessed tragedies in past wars and days, but what took place tonight is tantamount to a genocide,”

Benjamin Netanyahu had already taken a tough stance and pursued actions against the Gaza Strip, even before the cross-border attack by Hamas.
