Tendai Frees His Style On “I Deserve It” | Music Reviews

The singer’s rich tapestry of sound and emotion lets loose a sonically charged undertaking.

It wasn’t long ago we stumbled upon the world of tendai following the release of what was billed as an extended play – ‘three.two’, which traversed the soundscapes of varying styles. The constant on each record has been the artist’s vocal flare, which, is always one of incredible fire.

In the past we found issues with the production that we believe failed to support tendai’s performance, which instead felt as though it contradicted his musical identity. But who are we to say? However, that appears to have been rectified following his latest drop “I Deserve It.”

Through crisp and sharp vocals he is able to align well with the curated production he has chosen, albeit, for only one minute and forty seconds. Listeners are eagerly awaiting a highly anticipated album, and based on his latest drop, his current direction looks to be steering towards an unbelievable body of work.
