Catpack Surprise With New Single “The Top”

A harmonious effort from the Californian band graces our ears in preparation for their new album.

Familiar sounds await when digging into Catpack’s latest synth-laden homage to the ‘90s music scene. The trio, made up of Amber Navran (of Moonchild), Jacob Mann and Phil Beaudreau, reveal their latest song, “The Top”, taken from their upcoming debut eponymous album.

An artistically musical piece

Although its core offering is a minimalist experience, it manages to portray its point through negative musical space.

Navran explains it is about “showing loved ones that you love them with love. Knowing how special they are, showing them in all the ways you can, and then being amazed at how they do the same for you.”

Brimming with percussion, the group’s multilayered approach to a style that is less recurrent than you’d think showcases the band’s synergy. Four tracks are currently available from their forthcoming LP.

“The Top” is out now on Tru Records and is available to stream on all major streaming platforms.
