Fans of Danny Boyle’s iconic horror franchise, 28 Years Later, have speculated that Cillian Murphy’s role in the sequel is that of a zombie.
What Is The Plot?
The story is set three decades after the Rage Virus outbreak. In true franchise fashion, the promotional video shows a dystopian island inhabited by the last remaining humans, guarded by defenses including arrows and crossbow munitions. It hints at a story where society has collapsed following the events of the sequel’s ending.
It explores themes of survival and the search for a cure. Potential theories include a virus mutation and the possible remission of symptoms.
