Rapper spits flames and conquers on new exceptional tank-like song.
TeeZandos (formerly known as Tyler) has burst onto our radar, and we can’t stop playing her crazy new song. Old Me is a testament to self-awareness, setting the standard, and blazing the competition.
Not only is it a progressively and enlightened introspective piece, but the rapper uses her latest song as a platform to assert her dominance.
What It Sounds Like
Featuring fiery drum loops and an unapologetic domineering style, Zandos makes a bid for the drill game title. And make no mistake, she knows it’s hers for the taking.
This isn’t a flippant jab at her adversaries, nor is it launched on a whim; the MC has captured the attention of listeners, both within and outside the drill scene. Her catchy flow and venomous bars are launching razor sharp verses into the game. Perhaps many aren’t ready for it.
The rapper is belligerent on this latest song, pushing boundaries, and laying down the gauntlet. Having assessed plenty of lyricists in the UK scene, we can safely say that Teezandos is up there as a contender.
Verdict
Her style and raw flow make for an exciting addition to music. Her execution of penmanship to vocals is flawless, with a cadence that can sow discord.
There are plenty of best MC lists out there, but we will have to reshuffle and adjust, because there’s one more person to add. This is unmistakably cold, and her contemporaries must be shivering because of it.
Where to Stream
Old Me can be streamed on Spotify, Apple Music, and Tidal, with alternate platforms available, too.
