Sister group, Haim, release new music as a prelude to their upcoming album, I Quit, due out June 20th 2025. The fresh new vibe is a follow-up to the singles Relationships and Everybody’s Trying to Figure Me Out.
What Down to Be Wrong Sounds Like
Produced by Danielle Haim and Rostam Batmanglij, the track features candid acoustics and a balance of vocal harmonies. Its rock and pop elements draw on a well-loved spread of sonically satisfying audio, and probes themes of growth and self-discovery.

Aurally, it strums to its own rhythm and features a coming-of-age-esque soundtrack that’s bound to find its way into mainstream playlists, thanks to its radio-friendly nature. The band premiered the song at The Bellwether in Los Angeles.

The music video, directed once again by long-time collaborator–and family friend–Paul Thomas Anderson, stars actor Logan Lerman against a backdrop of cinematically spectacular visuals. It premieres today, 11am Eastern time.
