It wasn’t long ago I pondered the very sobering realisation that, no matter where you are, you’re always being tracked. Private conversation? Video doorbells will put a stop to that.

Mitekiss‘ fresh song, a collaboration with rapper Truemendous, is a ballad for the introverts–Incognito–and those who seek solace from a sensory-overloaded world. At least, that’s what I get from it.

What Incognito Sounds Like

The hip-hop artist gathers her thoughts to implement another section of her musical prowess, activating a part of herself to collect musings on a world increasingly void of privacy.

It’s invigorating to cross paths with something I often pine for – electronic music meets hip-hop – and the message this track promotes is one of partial hermitage. The lyricist posted to social media, saying, “new single ‘Incognito’ out now for all the introverts,” followed by a fire emoji, exclaiming the notion behind this necessary work.

Mitekiss extended appreciation for the wordsmith too, underscoring her professionalism through the experience: “True really owned this tune, working with me on creating space and changing musical elements to get the best out of her performance. The Verdict

Equally, production is crafted to perfection, pole-vaulting a collaboration that is just simmering hot and expressive for a valley of disenfranchised personalities. It’s a beautiful track.
