The rapper and singer set another record for the hip-hop history books, smashing sales of their previous best selling concert

Kendrick Lamar and SZA has smashed their own record. But for the rapper, it’s a milestone for the genre becoming the highest-ever grossing hip-hop concert ever.

Selling 60,941 tickets, the rapper and singer grossed more than $14 million in sales exceeding previous takings in April by $5 million.

The Compton performer leapfrogged his previous feat of $9,124,989, set at the Bank Stadium in Minneapolis earlier this year in April. The performances largely highlight music from his number one album GNX.

The rapper is now the only act to gross more than $9 million in a single night, far surpassing the previous record set by Detroit rapper Eminem.

The confrontation was further augmented by Kendrick’s appearance at the 2025 SuperBowl, where he highlighted the conflict through another heated performance of Not Like Us.
