Get ready to part with your money…again. The Pokemon Company are getting ready to release an Eevee inspired collaboration with Crocs.

A festival of colour is on display as the two brands continue to focus on collaboration and design diversification.

What you Need to Know

This new mode of footwear could soften the blow for buyers who missed out on the Prismatic Evolutions set. Although it’s a far cry from card exclusives, it features several additions that will have you smiling ear-to-ear. That’s if it’s your thing.

Described as a “love letter to pastel lovers, Pokémon fans, and comfort seekers,” it will take a certain someone to walk proudly in these.

It features a multi-prong approach for lovers of the franchise. If you’re a fan of the ‘Eeveelutions’ hype train, then this will likely appeal to you.

Ah heck, let’s call it what it is: a sandal. Printed in a tie dye style design —complete with a spectrum of star imprints.

The heel strap gets a noticeable upgrade — a big fluffy ball of comfortable kawaii madness.

The uppers of the foot are adorned with an Eevee image. A charm bracelet (contributed by Jibbitz) is also attached to the front; an addition that will excite Pokemon fans.

Verdict

It’s like the monkey’s paw of the Crocs line. If you live in rural parts of the country, you’ll ruin these in a matter of minutes. If you reside in the city, they’re going to start looking like the metro pretty fast.

It’s an impractical and unnecessary addition appealing more to collectors. If you’re desperate to wear them, keep them indoors. I’d avoid them, but I’m guessing someone will cop these.
