Last updated: 12th June 2025
Larry June holds onto his fans and a loyal fan base. But there are some faults to his game that are frustrating.
His latest track On The Unda targets a relaxed and introspective vibe augmenting resilience and passion.
What On The Unda Sounds Like
June is talented, but there are times when problems emerge in his game. This time, his delivery can feel disjointed, married to skill by reputation alone.

Featuring signature West Coast cowbells and smooth rolling basslines, it gets off to a good start. But as soon as the rapper begins to recite his part, it’s downhill.
Despite the production being of a pungent quality, June’s own delivery feels offbeat, almost like he is trying to force each bar to fit into the composition.
The Verdict
While he may say it’s part of his style, it’s simply difficult to listen to. It urgently needs addressing. Let’s hope an instrumental is dropped soon.
How to Hear it
The track is available on Apple Music and Spotify via The Freeminded Records and Empire.
