The UK rapper unleashes venomous freestyle in spat with Cee
Last updated: 29th June 2025
Kairo Keyz has slipped the gloves on, taking a combative stance with his once-trusted friend Central Cee on a diss track that lays down the gauntlet for a potentially long fight. The track appears to be produced by the rapper himself.
Mainstream Freestyle Has All the Drama But Lacks the Bite
Clocking in at just under 2 minutes long, the freestyle begins with the MC dispatching, “Everyone’s got something to say until there’s nothing to say,” alluding to either his critics, or to the fact Cench keeps his cool, often relenting from responses.

While I’m not a fan of his music, I appreciate the restraint he has shown over the past several months, especially given the fact that beef seems to follow him everywhere.
The track features string bursts over collective snares, a placement crafted to enhance the atmosperic tone of its production. Fashioning an air of drama, its composition rolls out the red carpet for Keyz to get things moving.
This leads to the rapper calling out Cesar’s status, with a line that questions not only his fame but reputation: “In the UK no one ain’t calling him GOAT, we know him as mainstream chatter.” Aside from this passage, there isn’t really much that would classify Mainstream Freestyle as a skin-reddening slap to the face — given this, I would expect the opposition to politely decline to respond. However, I applaud the energy and direction this is going.
TL;DR: Why are Keyz and Central Cee Beefing?
Long story short, Keyz has accused Central Cee of appropriating of his flow, something described by Aitch in his own diss of him: “That’s not your flow that’s Kairo Keyz.” Keyano also felt that as fame overtook Cench’s life, he was sidelined, with promotion for their collaborative projects being benched.
