Mattel releases tiny ship for a franchise in need of a bigger boat
Global toy phenomenon Hot Wheels has unveiled a 50th-anniversary tribute to Steven Spielberg’s beloved Jaws movie.
Featuring a die-cast version of the Orca, it also comes complete with a mini-figure on the aft deck and, of course, the Megaladon-like creature known as Jaws.

In publicity photos shared by the franchise owner Mattel, the giant shark can be seen chasing the ship with its ferocious teeth on show.
The blockbuster movie has seen a flurry of merchandise hit the shelves in recent months, including its own version of the game Buckaroo. But no one could have predicted Hot Wheels would release their own interpretation of the classic tale.
Whatβs in the Box?
Included with the toy is a diorama complete with Jaws, who is encased in plastic waves, further creating drama. The release will also come with a pop-up poster.

The new drop can be pre-ordered directly from Mattel and will dispatch on or after the 24th July 2025.
