Pure rap goodness emerges from the streets of NYC as the butcher teams up with Tony again for a high-brow work of hip-hop
Back with a bang — Benny the Butcher dons his gloves again to whip foes with a velvet slap. His flashy new video includes some heated wordplay alongside contemporary name Tony Moxberg, as the pair reunite for summer bars over a cold beat co-produced by the rapper himself and Automatic Beatz.
Run It Up Sounds Like Pure Hip-Hop
Thrashing ironclad verses over haunting samples that reverberate throughout, Moxberg takes the stand as he opens for their new song against a pensive soundtrack. As he pens scripts of fury and cityscape tales, there’s an ambient impact the two distil over a stone-will to lay down their own law against a high-stakes soundscape.

“Still running up the numbers, I ain’t seen a trail for the past ten summers” – Tony Moxberg
As the Butcher enters the fray, the energy shifts and his noticeable addition strengthens the compositional tempo. His bars, solid as they come, ring out like warnings: “…shot at us and he was gone in a week.” Like an impaling omen, the two are relentlessly intent on deconstructing the ferocity and potential of rhyme, using intensity as a weapon.
Verdict
Put quite simply, it’s another great tune. Another decent entry from the Griselda camp slaps hard, with Ben showcasing his collaborative muscle as the duo douse an industry in flame-tip pens and oil-slicked microphones.
It’s a definite win as a single with no strings attached. As their press release details, it’s certainly “street-certified energy” and full of “authentic hip-hop vibes”
