The South London-based grime MC vibes to the summer on timely smash

Rapper Lil Shakz releases untamed new single, Do Better, produced by hitmaker Jester Beats (Central Cee), in a vibrant and lyrically sparky lux of upbeat momentum.

With a visually rose-tinted video directed by Reece Selvadorai, Shakz is ticking all the right boxes to entice dancefloors to be trampled and left alone in need of restoration. It’s clear the lyricist has no desire to be characterised, instead he chooses to drive by his own rules.

Do Better is a Summertime Anthem

It’s a warm and openly inviting track, emboldened by a sentient ambience the listener can vibe to. It’s a package release, complete with a music video the MC says is a CV of his personality: “It’s all about putting your grind first but still having fun while doing it,” the London-based artist said in a statement, “This tune gives people a glimpse into who I really am, chilled, playful, but serious about making moves.”

This is a product of the summer and music representative of the South Londoner‘s brush that only he knows how to stroke.
