The Toronto rapper recruits Central Cee for his new single, a defenceless tripe-laden promotional song

Don’t hold your breath for seminal work from Drake’s upcoming Iceman album. His new single Which One is further proof of a crammed and likely tawdry new project.
Based on current evidence, it’s easy to surmise that whatever we get, will be a daring piece of rare, garish, gaudy revolting music. I fear to use the term hip-hop, a spectrum of which he has long exited.
Which One Needs a Music Teacher
I’m just making my way through the big city, enjoying my day—until bam! More mediocre music crosses paths with me.
There’s a reason I was happy: Drake didn’t exist on my timeline for the most part. But for some reason, he still managed to wedge his way into my feed.

Which One enlists the help of another pop-rap artist, Central Cee, yet offers little musical or lyrical prowess to magnetise a response—let alone give the flailing Toronto artist a leg up. Cench’s delivery also feels offbeat at times.
Aubrey’s stylistic interpretation feels like a parody, and the two sound mismatched. There’s music and then there’s marketing—the latter he’s an expert in, the former he is not. Its production is more of the same and incredibly bare bones to the point it sounds unfinished.
The Verdict
With further proof in the pudding of a fast declining artist, I feel the need to remonstrate that he simply stop.
And of all the UK rappers he decides to collaborate with, it would help if an actual hip-hop artist was consulted—perhaps then he might regain some semblance of respectability.
