John Cena returns as the DC comic book character for a second Peacemaker season with some surprises
A new season of Peacemaker is due to premiere soon. The second series of the now-loved DC television show unseals new elements and its preview has certainly heightened expectations, with possible tie-ins to alternate stories.
John Cena returns as the protagonist Christopher Smith in a show that caused division until its airing.
New Season, New Details
The fresh trailer reveals more details including a multiverse door that sees Peacemaker sparring with his own doppelgänger.

He also attempts to join the Justice Gang, a group whose members include Guy Gardner, Hawkgirl, and Mr Terrific.
Television Debut
The new series is set to be unveiled Thursday, 21st August 2025, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO Max (US). In the UK, screenings will simultaneously be available on Sky TV.
