The double act potentially tee up an album thanks to their powerful new soul-esque collaboration
Hip-hop heads will know Danger Mouse from his seminal work with lyricist Black Thought. This time he’s teaming up with the sensational vocalist, MorMor, for a fragile work of music on Wonder.
Wonder is an Ethereal Piece of Music
Wonder is a construction of elements that lie sonically between a gossamer of music to a delicate balance of relaying moments.
With a broad stroke of soul to R&B & soul-esque acts, Danger Mouse blends otherworldly soundscapes that agree to a serene landing.
In a statement, MorMor said: “My relationship with Danger Mouse started when he invited me to meet and play music.”

He then elaborates on their playful induction: “From time to time we’d hang out and listen to records or watch films; not necessarily making music—I think we were both seeing if we could find an intersection where it’d make sense to pursue an idea. ‘Wonder’ came from exactly that.”
Verdict
It’s a great piece of music weaving inspiration from various decades, most notably a 1980s infusion of sonics and vocals. I’m guessing this will lead into an album — and if not — they’re mad.
