From the side to the courts, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s signature shoes are fire

The Converse SHAI 001 shoe designed by NBA star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander first dropped during the NBA All-Star Weekend, causing immense hype.

As his first signature sneaker, it’s a great first drop, promoted in a sleek, minimalist khaki colourway titled “Butter.”

Release Date, Price, and More

Slated for release on September 4th 2025, it’s set to be priced at $130 USD.

Designed to meet expectations both on and off the court, this was showcased by Shai himself when he continued to wear them following the end of play.

Colourways and Design

The sneaker sports a puffed out design, futuristic at first glance and is said to be as comfortable as they look.

It will release in four colourways: “Butter,” “Charm Black,” “Ares Gray,” and “Hail Clay.”
