Forest DLG provides high-vibrational music to underscore the rapper’s delivery
Fliptrix is back with a bang, and this is no flash grenade. Teaming up with the talented production skills of Forest DLG, he ventures into a dark robing room of civilisational ills, inspired by the aptitude of the beat maker’s style.
What Floodlights Sounds Like
Diving into the actus reus of society’s ills, the rapper challenges the destruction catalysed by the supercharged pyramid scheme of the rich. Featuring production by Forest DLG, the track fuses layers of sound within a pentagon of malleable subject matter.
Taking aim at crimes against humanity and more, the track produces a focused blast of lyrical vigour, documenting the vestibule of forgotten, inequitable acts. Its target: the higher-ups, festering within a system of deep cruelty.
In a statement, the rapper let loose his inspiration, saying: “I’m proud to present my latest single produced by Forest DLG. His incredible production inspired me to delve deep on this one!”

In just one day, the music video — which features the lyricist switch scenes between forested backdrops and cityscapes — has garnered thousands of views, inspiring fans to comment: “Beast mode”, one said and “killed it!”
And incredible it is. It punches into a peacock pattern of melodies and percussion. At the same time, Fliptrix lays a gauntlet of flows with hints of different genres, overwhelmingly rap — fitting for a hip-hop track.

These sentiments are ones we all should share, especially given patterns of a destructive nature that are currently forming. A fat high five to both the producer and vocalist — they’ve given collaboration a whole new meaning.
