New single features singer Marina B on an incredible silver-screen rap score

Emmeline is a name you’ll be hearing more and more. As we approach the release of her new album, the rapper publishes a fresh track, LITTLEMISSSIXTY featuring Marina B, a deluge of vivid storytelling and pungent music.
What LITTLEMISSSIXTY Sounds Like
I’m in the habit of highlighting music that sounds like it was made for the movies, and this joint is no different. With a Tarantino-esque vibe, The Still Brothers have done well to engineer a silky work of studio gold.

Featuring stringed echoes right out of (perhaps) Desperado, Emmeline relays narratives of a Hollywood lifestyle, being steeped in ‘Parisians’ day dreaming of being Faye Dunaway.
If you’re familiar with the rapper’s prior work, you’ll know that her growth aims high, spinning yarns drenched perfectly in wordplay embossed with smooth transitions.
Verdict
Everything from the production to the extraordinary execution makes me tilt my hat to her. Fuelling her own artistry, she’s done well to germ great art with a balance of retaining both her musical and hip-hop identity. The track is released on Lewis Recordings famed for artists including Stig Of The Dump and Arlo Parks.
