Drippy synth-led production is led-astray by gimmicky auto-tune and a formulaic chorus
N-Sync is back… or is it Backstreet? I can never remember. Anyway, Tom Did It has dropped a new single titled Snow White featuring 424KP, an auto-tune-laden pop track with punchy, bold synths and a slew of pulsating basslines.
A Bottle of Pop Music
While it’s classified as a rap track, I really don’t hear any rapping at all — if anything, they’ve crossed the frontier of boy-band territory, untangling the golden era of said genre. The artist says there’s “no real deeper meaning behind it other than me having fun, showing my youthfulness“, something that’s clear from the presentation throughout.

The performance would be better raw, without the need for vocal tampering. Though this track has gained a significant following, it risks getting lost in a sea of cloned, “same, same but different” deliveries.
Verdict
While the production is top-tier, it still feels spread thin within the work of pop — not bad, but it may struggle to sustain a following in years to come, mostly owing to an overuse of pitch correction. Overall, it’s enjoyable cookie-cutter music in need of a rebrand, but I won’t protest anyone wishing to play it — though it grows stale quickly.
Snow White is taken from his debut album Did It.
