Brittle pop song, I’m Your First, is smooth but cuts through little to stay afloat
Pop sensation flowerovlove unveils her new song, “I’m Your First”, powered by a Steve Boy and 444Boy production.
Review and Verdict
The track is the singer-songwriter’s follow up to her smash single, New Friends, and is a bubbling momentous piece that acts as a whimsical fluff track.
True to pop form, it’s got everything going for it, other than its sound fails to break the mould. Pulled by obvious and formulaic radio feed, it’s fodder for DJ playlists until the next best thing arrives. There’s something in it — but I doubt it will last long in rotation, let alone our minds.
