Some fans believe it was a tactical move, given the scale of Cardi B’s marketing, with one social media user saying: “Smart man, Cardi dropped,” while another expressed their disappointment: “If Faiyaz had dropped, he could’ve had a number 1 album. This week is so bad.”
Others felt it was a poor week of drops too, commenting that it was full of dull releases: “Can the music scene get any worse? We have basic drops and y’all normalise it. This is odd.”
