The boom-bap professor returns alongside New York rap maestro Ransom

DJ Premier has dropped some new juice for the culture alongside rapper Ransom. The two go back and forth on a dusty beat with the spitter taking control of the saddle on their first single, Amazing Graces, taken from the forthcoming album The Reinvention.
Review and Verdict
The production threatens to take us somewhere, but it’s missing something. Put together with the verbal vision of Ransom, it too needs some extra heat.
Paying homage to EPMD in the music video thumbnail, it’s an interesting song, but definitely not Preemo’s best – though enjoyable nonetheless. Hopefully he’s holding back for the album.
