Some wounds indicate executions were carried out on detainees. In a statement, the journalist said:
“This is how the bodies of Gazan Hostages were returned – blindfolded, bound like animals, and bearing signs of severe torture and burning.
They were not buried underground; they were kept for months in the occupation’s morgue freezers, their bodies preserved as silent witnesses to brutality.
They did not die naturally – they were executed while restrained, a war crime demanding an urgent international investigation and accountability for the perpetrators.”
Bound and Blindfolded
Dr Ahmed al-Farra, who is the head of Nasser hospital’s paediatric department in Khan Younis said:
“Almost all of them had been blindfolded, and had been bound up and they had gunshots between the eyes. Almost all of them had been executed”.
He then went on to say there was evidence of post-mortem abuse:
“There were also scars and discoloured patches of skin showing they had been beaten before being killed. There were also signs that their bodies had been abused after they were killed.”
