Jamie Foxx stopped an event for his daughter to address the crowd about their unruly behaviour

A visibly angry Jamie Foxx stopped a performance to dress down the crowd at a music festival for his daughter. With a furious rebuke of concertgoers’ behaviour, the 57-year-old had finally had enough.

Everything That Happened

Rapper GloRilla (real name Gloria Hallelujah Woods) was performing when an audience member threw a bottle at her, prompting the actor to respond. Visibly angry, he said:

“Why would you do something like that? Why would you throw something at the stage, man? This is for free.”

“Who did it? Why would you do some s*** like that? … Y’all don’t deserve this s***, bro. I’m so disappointed. I love y’all but hate whoever the f*** that was. That ain’t cool, bro. You throw some s*** at my house? That ain’t cool.”

Bottle throwing has become a common occurrence at music festivals and shows. The incident is alleged to have shifted the tone at the family home, but Woods continued her performance.

Clearing the Air

To ensure the incident didn’t overshadow the event, the actor later posted on Instagram saying: “Yoooooooo the night was epic!!!! @skvlkfest festival was poppin!!! The best energy on the planet!!! The kids make it iconic!!! @anelisefoxx you have created something magical!!! don’t miss out next year. He then posted images from behind the scenes with a caption that reads:

“This is just a little taste of what was going on behind the scenes … my daughter, @anelisefoxx, has always wanted to throw the biggest party in the world.

“When she was a little kid, that was her dream and aspiration … it is now coming true. The first annual @skvlkfest was amazing!!(sic)”

The Django Unchained actor had every reason to be angry. Last year, Foxx was hospitalised after someone at an event threw a glass at him from another table.
