Barbour & Levi’s Collaborate For A Rare Winter Line

Barbour and Levi’s team up to fuse their signature waxed cotton with a timeless denim look

Barbour may be known for appealing to wannabe pheasant hunters, but often, it’s a stale design. Their concepts — and ambition — often fall into a space that feels old and out of touch. Levi’s, too, often grasp at straws; their most recent drops embrace a safety-first theme, right down to thread and stitch.

What You Need to Know

Both brands decided to team up and rescue their dated look, with some eye-widening outcomes. Their collaborative project sees them fuse Barbour’s signature waxed cotton with Levi’s well-known pattern — and it’s good.

At launch, they revealed the men’s Bedale and Type II jackets, along with the Spey Wax jacket for women. These pieces — and others — feature the arcuate-shaped pockets found throughout the denim brand’s collection, along with a tartan binding.

The women’s Spey jacket, in particular, features striking touches such as the trucker-style cuffs, a back-cinch detail, and a brown cord collar.

Other products in the catalog include denim jeans and corduroy trousers, as well as matching jackets. Graphic hoodies are available to complement this fit, along with T-shirts and caps.

The Verdict

Brand collaborations are being released more than ever before and drops like this are worth copping before such a cooperation disappears — with a hoard of other trends — from the market. Most pieces from this wave of designs are selling out, making this collection all the more special to consider.
