New music from the rapper sees him switch lanes from rap to experimental
Danny Brown takes his eclectic form of music to a place with experimental energy. His new album, Stardust, is, to say the least, alternative. Its production ranges from electronic and experimental, to hyperpop/digicore music.
Features and Production
This time Brown works with a mix of artists largely cut from his new genre cloth. The typical features you’d expect are absent, swapped for Quadeca, Underscores, Jane Remover, Frost Children, 8485, Femtanyl and more. Producers who worked on the project include Cynthoni and Umru.
Adopting an alias, Dusty Star, sees him make significant moves away from his earlier persona following battles with alcoholism.
