Boldy James unveils a introspection for new track with Nicholas Craven
There’s not a lot of noteworthy hip-hop dropping today, so thank you to rapper Boldy James for stepping up. His new track, No Blemishes is a prudent mash of taste. Padded with flair and a bruising narrative, we’re now intrigued to know what else he is holding in the dram.

Boldy James‘ heart-searching retrospective and big picture prose are a practice of craft that he takes seriously, with imagery that holds up thanks to the through-lines of the spitter’s experience and desires.
He’s one of few examples where rap can really succeed. Without the bromide flows that are in vast supply, James taps the production elements of Nicholas Craven whose discernment and study of music is evident. Interwoven with subtle basslines that abet the structural parts of the song, it’s a refined and maelstrom of polished endeavours that truly underpin this latest effort.
