Streetwear brand Nicce showcases revealing line with little pivot

Nicce revealed its new AW25 line a month ago, and it’s still pretty standard stuff. The designer, renowned for streetwear, hasn’t exactly lifted the bar for cutting-edge design, and this latest series is yet another example of subpar work.

While most of its fits showcase a mostly cotton finish, some pieces blend polyester (plastic) into the mix. That’s not the biggest problem.

Startlingly, these pieces look like start-up brands asking for feedback on Reddit. The colours, the fit, and more are depressingly brutalist with a minute lick of colour. It’s as if they thought that adding the brand would earn it acclaim. Despite some minimalist ideas that float a sense of calm, it still doesn’t quite blow the industry out of the water.

In an age where everyone wants to, start their own streetwear brand, Nicce are failing to pass the ‘So what?’ test.
