Jon Bernthal returns as comic book hero favourite ‘The Punisher: One Last Kill‘. Here’s what you need to know
After two successful seasons on Netflix, it felt like Jon Bernthal‘s show was dead in the water. But somehow, Frank Castle has returned for a feature-length outing in a television motion picture, The Punisher: One Last Kill. Here’s what we know so far.
The Plot
Following the explosive season two finale, Frank Castle tries to step away from a life of repeating, cyclical violence. However, others have plans of their own, as the War Machine is drawn back into street-level conflict in a darker, psychological take on the comic-book character. The Punisher: One Last Kill directly ties into Spider-Man: Brand New Day, where he takes on a role alongside the wall-crawling web-slinger.
Reaction
With dialogue and scenes set up for an action-packed ride, what we do see looks like classic Punisher mayhem, replete with the emotional toll we’ve come to know him for. And while there isn’t really much to draw on yet, with Jon Bernthal in the mix as writer/producer, it seems like a recipe for success.
Cast Details
Only a few details are known about the project, though we know Jon Bernthal reprises his role as Frank Castle, while Jason R. Moore returns as Curtis Hoyle. Other cast members include:
