The hip-hop game is on high alert, thanks to another ruthless barrage of verses from the rap duo

Teezandos recruits P3Lz for a fresh track, ABC, targeting contentious issues, and boy, do they know what they’re doing. It’s been a while since I could say anything good about commercial UK music; oftentimes, I feel it’s a disjointed organ of the genre, masquerading as its own thing.

Despite the art of rap being an integral part of it, others try their best to circumvent any form of effort in their work. However, on this sure-fire smash-hit, both rappers seek flights of fancy within reach that are just the tipple for monocle-wearing hip-hop aficionados.

What ABC Sounds Like

Having fanned the flames for a while now, Tee has perpetuated a skillset with ferocious intent. In my opinion, she’s in a class of her own and doesn’t belong in the subtypes of an industry that are stuck in an era more representative of 1990s pop-rap group 5ive.

Hi-hats set the tone on a track that assists both Zandos and P3Lz to lambast the aural atmosphere. The two transition between verse to hook for a smooth handover for an assignment where they could go for days.

However, this track slaps to the point that the genre’s skin is red and falling off. Dispatching an intensity of vernacular disruption, her pen game is a gallantly employed stylistic temperament, that will no doubt have her adversaries gasping for air.

The Verdict

Over an uptempo production, their strikes are an impressive dictation to the culture. It would be equally exciting if an opposition of similar calibre could be matched, but unfortunately, it’s a very dire scene out there.

However, having revived the art of response for the UK scene, it’s a memorable prelude to a career with promising potential. We can safely say it will be hard to match both rappers in return, given the tame lyrics we often hear from the UK game. Both Tee and her rhyming partner showcase unquestionable prowess.

Before even a shot is fired, it’s clear that this collaboration was going to demolish our ears, thanks to their brutal translation from verse to flow.
