The Best New Big Hip-Hop Drops Right Now

We chart all the best new hip-hop out right now โ€” music that deserves a hall of fame trophy and a movie to be written about it too

Last updated: 4th November 2025

Thereโ€™s just too much to go through โ€” so weโ€™ve highlighted the best hip-hop and rap music of the month. Weโ€™re swinging from the UK to the US with a contingent of delectable art and music for a host of situations.

Coast Contra – “Don’t Worryโ€

Coast Contra – Donโ€™t Worry

A high-impact work of art, Coast Contra are the current unsung heroes of the hip-hop scene. With phonetically controlled dispatch, their breathwork and ability to shock with style continue to blaze a path through rapโ€™s pleasure gardens. Donโ€™t Worry is one of many tracks to get down to โ€” with a message that counts.

Jay Royale & RJ Payne – โ€œThe Mask Or Rorschachโ€

Baltimoreโ€™s finest, Jay Royale, continues his conflagration of polysyllabic deliveries with an oratory dispatch of a noted execution. This time around, his latest drop, โ€œThe Mask Or Rorschachโ€, sees him team up with the arresting words of RJ Payne โ€” and wow, do they both bring it over an intense flurry of looping strings and haunting samples.

Queenie, me-mai & me2 – โ€œParanormalโ€

Queenie, me-mai & me2 – Paranormal

The Queen is back, with a conglomerate of lyrics โ€” and, of course, me-mai and me2 on new track Paranormal. The track is a fast-paced levy on the mind for a host of rappers. Itโ€™s nothing short of pure energy, insightful rhymes, and powerful production. UK rapper Queenie never slips in form and is rightfully deserving of the name she wields.

Danger Mouse & Black Thought ft Rag’n’Bone man – “UPโ€

A poignant song, Up is likely the heel spur for an upcoming album from the rapper-producer duo. Their debut collaborative project smashed through a lukewarm scene โ€” waking up listeners for a Marty McFly type moment: โ€œYour kids are going to love thisโ€. Featuring the guttural tones of Ragโ€™nโ€™Bone Man, itโ€™s the perfect assembly of musicians. Black Thought once again proves why he is the don of rap alongside Danger Mouseโ€™s best to date.

Mobb Deep & Big Noyd – “M. The O. The B. The B.โ€

Mobb Deep & Big Noyd – “M. The O. The B. The B.โ€

Their new release Infinite took critics by storm, exemplifying why their alliance is a lasting kernel of hip-hop brilliance. Mobb Deepโ€™s album is a no skip project โ€” and one of our favourite tracks being “M. The O. The B. The B.” Itโ€™s persistently dark samples and horror-like vocal delivery continue to turn rappers on themselves, and there are few, if any, who can replicate their signature sound.

TeeZandos & Cristale – “No, Yesโ€

TeeZandos & Cristale – “No, Yesโ€

This track is one of few contenders to shift the game. Along with a handful of others, TeeZandos and Cristale are an enigmatic force to be reckoned with. โ€œNo, Yesโ€ is an anthem to afford your time and to select for your playlists.

Big L ft Nas – “U Ain’t Gotta Chanceโ€

Big L ft Nas – “U Ain’t Gotta Chanceโ€ (official visualiser)

Youโ€™ve heard the album, but โ€œU Ainโ€™t Gotta Chanceโ€ is the main banger from the project, featuring a backdraft of rapidly spreading dope rhymes. Nas hasnโ€™t let up, and when pitched against a young Big L, itโ€™s clear his relevance remains. Heโ€™s not just chopping up beats โ€” heโ€™s overshadowing younger rappers too. Colemanโ€™s rhymes remain electrifying, filled with calculated skill, and his cadence is something rarely heard.
