James Cameron’s new Avatar CGI fest inspires yawns over excitement
Oh my gosh, Avatar: Fire and Ash, let’s go — go to bed. Do we still have to act as though this is a masterpiece? The franchise looks like one of those cheap mobile game pop up adverts.
Little Jimmy Cammy also fails to admit that he stole the idea from a certain 1990s animated movie.

He’s also convinced himself that this is the hill he will die on. There’s still so much to revive in Terminator. Since he abandoned ship (pun intended), the beloved franchise has since been buried.
Plot
As a direct sequel to The Way of Water, it follows the Sully family who are threatened by Varang (played by Oona Chaplin) leader of the Mangkwan clan.
First Impressions
Not only is it a lousy looking regurgitation of the first two movies, it’s going to be an abysmal 3 hours plus. If you plan on seeing this PlayStation 2 graphic led movie, find somewhere of comfort and bring an extra pillow. It’s going to be torture.
Box Office Wonder
The success of this movie hinges on the curiosity factor. For many, the first one, was awe inspiring. However, the second? Meh. Viewers simply show up out of interest. I will be flabbergasted if this one breaks a billion in worldwide ticket sales.
Cast and Director
James Cameron will direct, while Zoe Saldana and Sam Worthington return as the project leads. Sigourney Weaver will also reprise her role as Kiri; she will be joined by Stephen Lang, Michelle Yeoh, Kate Winslet, and Jack Champion.
Cinematic Release Date
The film is slated for a winter theatre release on the 19th December 2025.
