Taken from their collaborative effort ‘Cheat Codes’, the duo recruit the posthumous skillset of MF DOOM resulting in nothing short of art. Featuring a haunting beat, both rappers execute palatable rhyme schemes.
Verdict
‘Belize‘ is sitting well with the Hip-Hop community, and although it’s not something you’d expect of a promo single, it is definitely one to be eaten up by hip-hop heads everywhere.
Aside from the obvious (that this is a dope tune), the video is as incredible as the music itself. With limited cuts, the two prefer to stare down the lens, documentary style. Occupying one side of the room looking towards the other, as if to give it up to the shadow of their collaborator, they dispatch a work that diligently parades an alternate form of the genre.
