New music from Houston-based rock band Khruangbin reworks of their classic track as “White Gloves ii”

Musical trio Khruangbin has shared a brand new music video for White Gloves ii. The track is a fresh version of the 2015 song taken from their first album The Universe Smiles Upon You. Fans of the group have voiced approval of the new drop, along with what can be described as a remixing of sorts.
The band remastered an entire collection of songs, with resequenced vocals and instrumentation to braise their older catalogue with a 2025 stamp. Their latest album, The Universe Smiles Upon You II, takes some of their classic tracks beloved by fans and retitles them with the suffix “ii”.
Review and Verdict
The track is a fantastic overhaul and truly works for the group’s new aesthetic. With bass-led music fitting of their persona, fans of he group justifiably love it — newcomers too.
