Fashion outlet Marni and running shoe brand Hoka are defying the fashion industry with a groundbreaking release of “maximalist” BONDI B3LS sneakers. Both have been flipping the script for a while, making their mix a binocular peeping moment.
With sweeping changes that differ to their commercial range, the French designer’s move into an alternate line of footwear gives them scope for another area.
Old Design, Fresh Style
Hoka are known for plush comfort and with a new collab with Marni, you’d expect footwear circuits to be the upping conversation. However, that hasn’t happened.
Aficionados of both brands will appreciate the model’s rarity thanks to its style meets fit combination. While most consumers line up for tired and overcooked releases, real sneaker heads will understand the importance and niche of this drop.

With colour choices in Poinciana (red), Bracken (charcoal), Tourmaline (blue), and Straw (beige), the reveal gave buyers better options to inspire and combine.
Given the designs of Yeezys, you’d expect this to be a jumping off point for the two designers, with luxury optics and a price point to match at £375. This isn’t just another collaboration, it’s a fragrance that should lure manufacturers into blending function with niche fashion together to create a new art. This creative blueprint deserves more respect, and there’s a heap of people that don’t realise they need this.
Product Features and Materials
The Trivela (outside of foot) features a soft upper material, which the company says is sourced from Japan. This is complemented by a quilt stitch, and is what you see in its puffy finish.
Inside the shoe, a mesh lining offers greater flexibility for comfort, allowing your feet room to breathe. The midsole gets an EVA injected finish as with most of their lines.
Getting into the new cloud tech is also easier, with an attractive heel pull which is styled with an embossed logo.
