Reviewed: TeeZandos’ drops her explosive debut mixtape, Still Odd
Last updated: 3rd February 2026
UK rapper TeeZandos dropped a ferocious debut mixtape, ‘Still Odd‘, and it’s easily the best of the year so far. This is a ride, and it’s going to be hard to top such a ravenous work of lyrical napalm. The London rapper’s career feels like it was born without a cocoon and has continuously ridden an upward trajectory. Going beyond saber-rattling, the highly skilled and astute artist lands a fiery volley of dense music.
What You Need to Know
Zandos has already gifted listeners with a fair few tracks already, and some of our favourites are included on Still Odd, including No, Yes ft Cristale, Jail, ABC ft P3Lz and her latest Crip.
The rapper is a passionate advocate of her own work, stirring acclaim from an industry that is equally behind her. Speaking on her debut long play, the hurricane lyricist said:
“Overall I think “Still Odd” is a gateway to my artistry that listeners can’t always find in the same place, there’s a little bit of everything in there. Hard hits, real spit, you already know how I’m coming! This tape is like Coraline. I’m in 2 worlds!”
What You Need To Know
The project opens with the dramatically woven Back On, which establishes a precedent through a series of intricate rhyme schemes and wordplay, tackling multisyllabic patterning that rouses inspiration to engage. On Sort It!, another motif arises over a goodly production by Youngestfr, which abruptly segues into Shut Up, a score by Blanco Beats, where Tee executes a phenomenal change in cadence and gush.
This & That is a radio-friendly track that plays into a more traditional hip-hop soundscape and is stylistically accessible to a wide palate of tastes. Wohdee makes an appearance, featuring on Yeah! over a southern-inspired instrumental. The two go back and forth with a chemistry that feels packaged for future collaborations, and one that should silence critics.

Drvgz starts with a familiar quotable from Christopher Nolan’s interpretation of Bane over a lento beat by Mvmbo Stay Quiet. TeeZandos shows off the finesse of her storytelling talent, a short but hardhitting track with movie-score potential. We then return to the exploits we’ve come to know her for on Tagging Up, before transitioning to a sonorous track where the artist experiments with auto-tune and does it well, without the overbearing usage we’re often privy to from musicians whose excess is debilitating. TeeZandos is serious, and this mixtape is a warning.
The Verdict: UK Rap Beyond Peak
Still Odd is a meaningful release with a battle-hardened stance, hopefully leading into a thematic album. From the get-go, TeeZandos summons a serrated tornado of lyrical excellence and is primed and prepped to take over the game with promise across the pond.
With a platinum performative language and a magnificent cadence able to shift into a brutal posture, there’s a reckoning she brings to the rap game, and she is clearly a cut above her contemporaries thanks to her curative finishes and ability to sonically transmutate.
