R&B sensation Beyoncé releases surprise single “Morning Dew (Donk)” to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her 2006 album B’Day
Fresh music from Beyoncé has arrived. Her latest track “Morning Dew (Donk)”, a song that probes themes of romance and infatuation, and is out on all streaming services now.
A Celebratory Single
While the release is a surprise, the single was actually recorded in 2006. Why now? It has been unveiled as a thank you to her fans, known as the BeyHive, and to launch the 20th anniversary countdown celebrations for her album B’day. Today marks a 60-day countdown to its original release date, September 4th as well as the R&B singer’s birthday. Fans can expect more releases along the way and potentially culminating in a deluxe album.
