New pop song from Blackpink’s latest soloist is a bland music release.
Maroon 5 and BlackPink’s Lisa finally drop that track, Priceless. But is it any good?
It’s been a while in the making, and fans have been going out of their minds looking forward to it.
What Priceless Sounds Like
The typical Maroon 5 sound strums its way into the first wave, while Adam Levine expends little in the way of fresh music. It drifts into a light guitar melody in an acceptable rhythm, but soon becomes stale.

With each second of the track that plays, I feel myself growing older. The band seem to be reluctant to step outside of their comfort zone, dragging Lisa into their ritual sound.
With a stripped-back video, the sentiment they’re attempting to execute feels equally tired, compounded by a safe storyboard and uninspired visuals.
However, listening to this collaboration, the lack of creative investment in such a done-before-tune is understandable. Now comparisons will be made, and I’ll just say it: Rosé and Bruno Mars did it better.
The Verdict
This is a sign of the band’s demise, and quite frankly, the inclusion of Lisa’s verse further mires any promise for artistic renewal.
If I could describe Priceless concisely, it would be: the coffee got cold, and someone reheated it in the microwave. It’s something you just don’t do.
How to Hear It
The track can be streamed online via all major platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube. For tour dates, you can stay up to date via the group’s website.
