Rapper Quavo releases latest single produced by Pharrell Williams, but it feels trite and ordinary
Quavo releases a new track produced by Pharrell Williams, and the verdict is similar to much of his discography: meh. His latest effort, “HAAVIN“, positions him in a stage of reinvention, though this claim is as much prosaic as it is underwhelming. This so-called renewal is confidently redundant, marred by limited innovation, if any at all.
Laden with the same musical elements as prior releases, despite bringing Pharrell into the studio, the production feels like one of his leftover off-cut beats, and the vocals inspire thoughts of the ubiquity present within the game.
