Reading & Leeds Festival: British & Irish Acts Headline In Rare First

Festival Republic are announcing the first wave of acts to perform at their Reading & Leeds events

Charli XCX, Dave, and Raye have been announced as the headline acts for Reading and Leeds Festival 2026. It marks the first time in 25 years that its principal acts will be entirely British and Irish artists.

The announcement comes following a successful year for the trio. Dave released his third studio album ‘The Boy Who Played The Harp’ breaking records and garnering millions of streams.

Charli XCX’s performance is a festival exclusive, meaning it will be the only appearance she will make at a festival in the UK.

Also confirmed to perform are electronic duo Chase & Status, Fontaines DC, and Florence + The Machine as top billing for the August event. Kneecap and rapper Skepta will also take the stage.

Charlie XCX makes her entrance at a Leeds Festival event.

Rock band Kasabian will host a Thursday night performance for the first time at the Leeds event.

Festival Dates

The festival is set to take place between Thursday 27th – Sunday 30th August 2026 (Bank Holiday weekend).

Tickets can be purchased separately at the official Reading Festival and Leeds event sites.
